Due to the popularity of our original adaptations of Aesop's Fables stories for the puppet stage, The Creativity Institute writers have developed new original "Gwynn's Fables" puppet show ideas in the same style. Each easy-to-read, easy-to-perform puppet show script communicates an important "moral" lesson to children. These are all child-friendly puppet shows. There is no violence and no one gets eaten.

"To Tell the Truth" (Honesty)" shows why it's important to tell the truth when Froggie dishonestly takes all the credit for helping out, but has the tables turned on him when Teacher figures it out.

This script has speaking parts for three puppets and an off-camera narrator. While these scripts designate certain animal puppets in the parts, you can substitute other puppets you might have handy that are appropriate for the part.

This puppet show length is approximately 2 1/2 - 3 minutes.
