Here's a set of four moving-arm hand puppets representing different occupations that children see in their community, plus a simple script to get them started with their own puppet shows.

THE PUPPETS
From Get Ready Kids - This set of four African-American hand puppets includes a doctor, nurse, policeman and fireman puppet. The hand puppets in this set are 11 inches tall, surface washable. Puppets representing different occupations help children learn about careers.

THE SCRIPT
This Good News, Bad News puppet show script is an original puppet show that incorporates the puppet cast in a humorous quick-moving skit. As each puppet encounters the next on the street, they exchange an original good news, bad news" joke. The Creativity Institute writers have developed these scripts to be easy to perform and a fun experience for children. The puppet show length is approximately 2.5 - 3 minutes.

Also included with this puppet show script are puppet show stage directions that The Creativity Institute has put together to help staging more professional and enjoyable puppet shows, such as tips on simulating walking, etc.

NOTE: THIS PUPPET SHOW SCRIPT AND STAGE DIRECTIONS WILL BE EMAILED AS PDF FILES.

(If script is to be emailed directly to a gift recipient, please include recipient's email address.)
