Due to the popularity of our original adaptations of Aesop's Fables stories for the puppet stage, The Creativity Institute writers have developed new original "Gwynn's Fables" puppet show ideas in the same style. Each easy-to-read, easy-to-perform puppet show script communicates an important "moral" lesson to children. These are all child-friendly puppet shows. There is no violence and no one gets eaten.

The story of Gwynn's Fable "Ice Cream Day" demonstrates what happens when one of the characters is holding out for a particular kids of ice cream cone and winds up with none at all.

This script has speaking parts for four puppets and puppet show length is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.

While these scripts designate certain animal puppets in the parts, you can easily change the script to substitute other puppets you might have handy that are appropriate for the part.
